Why we built Escavox.
The problem was never measuring the temperature. It was what you do with what you learn.
Tracking food isn't new. Time-and-temperature clauses have sat in supply contracts for decades, alongside chilled warehouses and cold chains.
Our founders, Luke, Nici and Chris, had seen the problem from all three sides of the chain: as retailers, carriers and producers, because they'd worked inside each of them. When produce is lost, accountability falls to whoever can prove what happened, so the data became a shield, used defensively, after the fact, to settle claims.
The chains that work look different. Where partners align around shared, trusted data, above all shelf-life data, they waste less and deliver better. Producers see steadier demand and fewer rejections. Carriers get predictability. Retailers lose less. Everyone is more profitable.
The difference data makes.
Where shelf life is measured and shared, loss stays low. Where it isn't, produce pays the price, the same journey, a very different outcome.
