Escavox is looking to recruit Customer Account Managers for our fresh produce and meat customers. Proactively supporting our customers is a critical role and can influence reduction in food waste as well as improving profitability for our customers.

 

About the role:

  • Accountable for the relationship between Escavox and our customers

  • Work directly with farmers, meat processors and exporters to help understand their supply chain issues.  Proactively support customers in using the Escavox platform, including onboarding, answering questions and sharing insights with them

  • Review customer tracks on a regular basis and get to know customer supply chains, so you can share insights to support their business

  • Work with customers to continuously improve our service offering

  • Support the senior sales team with follow ups

  • Review stock replenishment

  • Become an expert in domestic and export fresh food supply chain control.

 

About you:

  • You have a passion for agriculture and food

  • You have an understanding of food production processes either through experience or relevant degree

  • You will be professional and respect the confidentiality of business information to which you will have access

  • You are dynamic, self-sufficient and enthusiastic, you enjoy varied work

  • You are comfortable to work in a dynamic start up environment where everyone pitches in

  • You have great attention to detail and excellent communication skills

  • You may be a recent graduate looking for their first role in this area.

 

Any of the following would be an advantage:

  • Intermediate Excel

  • Interest or understanding of AgTech and its practical implications.

Senior Software Development Engineer ( posted 29 June 2020)

Escavox is looking to recruit a Senior Software Development Engineer to support the maintenance and development of our core software.

 

About you:

  • Ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment

  • Strong experience in software engineering practices

  • Develop high quality, scalable and high performant solutions

  • Work collaboratively with Product Owners  

  • Work closely With Tech Lead to design maintainable and robust system

  • Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others and strong analytical thinking skills.

 

Required skills and experience

  • C#, .NET Core

  • SQL Server / T-SQL,

  • JavaScript. Angular, jQuery, Javascript, NodeJS

  • TDD (xunit)

  • Continuous Integration (Azure DevOps)

  • Azure Technologies like

    • Function Apps

    • Web Apps

    • Log Analytics

    • Storage.

 

Any of the following would be an advantage

  • Cosmos DB

  • IoTHub

  • API Management

  • Xamarin

  • Logic Apps

  • Docker.
